Linda Mae Lee Clark

1941 ~ 2012

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Linda Mae Lee Clark passed away surrounded by her family on May 15, 2012.

She was born November 23, 1941 in Los Angeles, California, daughter of Alfred Simpson and Maria Lee. She married her sweetheart Stephen J. Clark on September 21, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They enjoyed raising their four daughters and always put their family first. Her children and grandchildren were the things she treasured the most in her life. They were a great source of pride and joy with her home being the family gathering place. She enjoyed creating occasions to bring the family together; she loved gardening, planting flowers, and family barbecues. She also enjoyed quilting. Each grandchild has a special quilt she has made just for them. Her loving devotion in serving her family will never be forgotten. We love her with all our heart.

She is survived by her husband Stephen J. Clark, and their four children: Stephanie Lyn (Steve J.) Salmon, Maria Shantel (Scott) Robinson, Richelle (Paul) Thurston, and Jennie Rebecca Clark; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Dona (Cloy) Johnson and brother Alfred (Vicki) Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Simpson and Maria Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday evening from 6 until 8 and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be emailed to info@bergmortuary.com.

I remember Linda as a classy and beautiful member of our class-- always up-beat and positive.  She and her smile will be missed.
