Eugene H. Herman died June 2, 20011 at St. Marks Hospital. He was born in St. George Utah June 3, 1941 and was raised in Provo. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene O. Herman, mother Edith Isom Herman, and sister Merlene Batty.
Gene worked hard in his careers, first as a bakery manager for many years, then in demolition in his retired years. He was always respected as a hard worker. He served in LDS callings as Executive Secretary, a Sunday school and Primary teacher, and was in the Presidency of Larsen Nursing Home in Lehi.
Gene loved collecting antique cars and restoring Victorian homes. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, dirt bike riding with his children, and boating.
In 1962 he married Jill Watkins and together they had two children, Bryant and Denise. They later divorced. Bryant and his wife Angie blessed him with three grandchildren, Bryce, Chalise Johnson, and Jake. Denise married Brant Roberts and added two more grandchildren, Briggs and Cooper.
In 1986 he married Christine Herman, they later divorce. Their son Christian and his wife Stevie have Ashtion, Landon, and Capri bringing his total of grandchildren to eight.
Gene is survived by siblings Ron Herman, Helen Brown, Corrine Pugh, and Elaine Peters.
He will be missed as a loving son, father, and papa. Funeral Services: Wednesday June, 8, 10:30 a.m., at the LDS church, 13085 S. 300 E., Draper.
