Brent Westphal was married to Deann Bandley (she was a year younger than us, and went to Provo High.) Later they were divorced. I think Brent couldn't bear losing her and shot himself. He died about two weeks later. We went to his viewing. I always really liked Brent. He was such a sweet and kind guy. I felt like it was such a waste. He was very ambitious and had much going for him. He was a great friend. VirGean Olsen Christensen
