Obituary for Gary Brent Housekeeper

Gary Brent Housekeeper passed away on June 18th, 2022. He was born to Iris John and Enid Rosemae November 17th, 1941. He grew up and stayed in Provo except for 2 years while in the military service in Monterey, California. He married Rebecca Wilkinson and they had two daughters, Robin and Michelle. They were later divorced. On Sept 13, 1997 he married his best friend, Nancy Steele. They had 24 wonderful years together. They spent many weekends enjoying trips to the desert, gathering rocks and exploring the beauty of the mountains. Gary was a very kind and giving person. He would help anyone in need with a loving heart. He worked at PDM/CB&I for 40 years, retiring in 2004 to enjoy more time with Nancy, travelling and spending time creating their back yard beauty. He had a beautiful yard, in the spring he would plant a garden big enough to share with neighbors, friends and family. He leaves behind his wife Nancy Housekeeper, daughter Robin Loftus (Martin) and Michelle Dangerfield (Bruce Tremayne). His two stepchildren, Chris (Stacie) Steele and Jodi Steele. He has 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and his 5 step grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Ruby Christensen and a sister-in-law Marylou Housekeeper. He will be sorely missed. There will be a “Celebration of Life” on July 9th at 4:30 pm. This will be at the Paul Ream Wilderness Park, 1600 W 500 N Provo, Utah.
