1942-2016

Micheal (Mike) Miller was born October 23, 1942 in Spanish Fork Utah to Stanley and Mirl Gull Miller. He was raised and attended school in Provo Utah. He attended Trade Tech & BYU. He lived in the Grandview area most of his life.

Mike married Rebecca (Becci) Kellogg July 21, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized at the Salt Lake Temple June 6, 1965. Mike worked in construction owning his own foundation company. Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, bowler, and camper. Mike fought and won a battle with cancer in 2000. After retiring he worked for the BLM and Fish & Game, then Sportsman’s Warehouse in Provo.

He fought a long hard battle with Alzheimer’s finally losing to it May 5, 2016. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He taught his five boys to play hard, work hard, and be good husbands, fathers and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, son Mark Miller.

Mike! is survived by his sweetheart Becci, his brothers Brent and Denny, sisters Sue, Linda, and Tammi, his four children, Michael (Laura) Miller, Matthew (Janet) Miller, Marshall (Cory) Miller, and Morgan (Jenn) Miller, 20 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and honorary son Alex Haws.

Funeral services will be held on May 11th 1100 at the Grandview 18th Ward Chapel, 1260 W 1150 N, Provo, UT. Family and friends may call prior to the service from 10 to 11 at the church.
