Luncheon in Arizona in August would mean temps @+117 degrees and you can't even eat, but that would be better than -17 degrees don't you think?  So it looks like Utah  is still the best bet, even though Gary may think different.  Seriously, today. August 26th, +117 set an all time high for that day in Az.  Some of us needed sweaters though when comparing June 1999, while Jeanie and i were in the Uintas, throwing snowballs at each other, it was +122 degrees here.  I think I'd much rather have +117.  Anyway, Arizona is out of reach for most of you guys (including Gary), to have a lunch or anything else because you (lightweights) could NOT handle it.  Let us know about the St George luncheon and maybe we could make it if it's a real good luncheon.  I could even bring some of my pet scorpions!!  Bruce and LuAnn Clawson

Carol Ann Day (Anderson)

Just wanted to clarify the name of the person who wrote the lyrics for the song "Aurora" that

was part of our Senior Class assembly and dance.  It was yours truly, Carol Anne Day Anderson.

Carol Ann,  Do you still remember the lyrics?  If you do, please post them.  I'd love to read them.  I remember Rico (Lee Buttlle) and maybe Linda Anderson in the skit, but that's about it.

Hi, Wayne, I remember only part of the song.  Remember it's been over 50 years!  I think

Melva Allred has kept the song and lyrics together.

You have probably noticed that Don Robertson's obit was in The Daily Herald today, July 31, 2012.  I didn't know him well but was in a class with him when a teacher thought he had plagiarized part of a theme.  Instead of being offended Don felt honored that he had written so well that the teacher thought someone else had written it.

Dan Whiting

Hello Robert:  My name is Susie Whiting and I was married to Danny Whiting.  I wish to write a biography of Danny's life as a Christmas Gift for my children this coming December.  I wish to include in it any memories his friends/classmates have of him.

I'm not certain how to go about getting in touch with the people that knew him when he was young  Any help you might be able to give me would be so very much appreciated.

Thank you

Susie Whiting
