I got degrees in French and English at BYU with a teaching certificate and later got a Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

Carl and I met and married in Spokane, lived for nine years in Chicago and when there two sons, Ben and Brad, were born, moved back to the Seattle area for a year then to Sandy where we lived for thirty-three years. We moved to Daybreak in March of 2007.

Aside from a couple of years in Sales Promotion and Insurance Publications, I taught twenty-four years for the LDS Church Educational System, seventeen years teaching seminary and eight years teaching institute at LDS Business College.

My interests are traveling, reading, playing the piano, my granddaughters and blogging.

We have been married forty-four years.

Brenda DaMico died on January 10 in 2022. She was born December 22, 1941 in Provo and I'm pretty sure she graduated with us. She did go to school with us. She was a lovely person who was kind to everyone. She went through some rough times as she was a cousin to Gary Gilmore and was in court with him. She married Larry Dee Nuttall on March 4, 1961. I don't think she had an obituary. At least I couldn't find one. Her father was Vern who repaired shoes down on University Avenue. I don't want her to be forgotten. Maybe Gary Clayton can find one. Happy Birthday from Bob and Sauna Valentine. We hope to have a PHS Class of 1960 picnic reunion sometime in July in a Provo Park. Everyone brings his or her own food, etc. What do you think? More later.

Happy Birthday, Lynne! Hope you had a Happy Birthday! Do you remember that your grandmother was my first grade teacher? Lucille Turner taught me to read and was a real favorite of mine. She took us to her adobe house and loved us all. I wish we could have had our reunion this year but maybe next year. Hope you and yours are all well! Love, Linda
