PHS Class of 1960 50th Reunion
July 2-3, 2010
Friday Night Dinner/Dance/Social & After Dinner Soiree:
The dinner/dance began at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Academy Square ballroom (old BY High Campus - Current Provo City Library on University Avenue on the third floor).
Graduates began to arrive at 6 p.m. and were met by classmates in a greeting line. Susan Field Walles prepared easy-to-read name tags for all! Kathy Ostler Fryer's decorations! During and after dinner, we visited and danced, too. We watched DVDs prepared by Burt Robbins and Glee Zumbrennen. The "Ken Foster Trio" was by Kathy Davis Allman and played quietly so that we could visit without blowing out our hearing aids.
Some classmates displayed PHS 1960 memorabilia. these challenging times. (Extra donations accepted, thank you!)
Doc Hansen organized a buffet meal from Provo’s “Marvelous Catering” featuring beef or chicken plus potatoes, vegetables, salad, rolls and butter and desert selections. The roasted carrots were amazing.
Bob Valentine walked with room with a microphone for classmates to make remarks. Kathy Firmage Campbell came all the way from Hawaii. Diann Kuhni Smith came from Connecticut.
Four former faculty members also attended. More later.
Many classmates attended an "After Dinner Soiree" hosted by Jeff Brooks and Lee Buttle at Jeff's condo in Riverside after the reunion concluded at Academy Square.

The cost is $97 for one year and is renewable. The registered domain name www.provohigh1960.com cost $36 for two years. We will renew this website to stay in touch. This site was activated on 11/12/09. Please help us keep this website current for years to come!
